The German Betta Contest 2025 TO GO will officially commence at the beginning of October. Following the successful event at Aqua Expo XXL in Hamm, we are pleased to announce the very first TO GO edition of the German Betta Contest.

The contest will take place at AQUA TO GO in Dortmund from October 2nd to October 5th, 2025.
What’s new? Here are the key changes!
Each exhibitor can now enter up to 8 fish in the Regular Class respectively 5 fish in the New Breeder category. The focus is now firmly on quality over quantity.
For all breeders, this means:
Submit only your most outstanding specimens. Present the very best of the best at the contest.
We are greatly looking forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces, engaging in meaningful exchanges about our shared passion for bettas, and experiencing a truly remarkable contest. In addition to the competition, our team will be on hand to provide expert advice on all aspects of betta keeping and breeding. Bettas will also be available for purchase.
